GIVING MATERIALS AND PEOPLE A SECOND CHANCE

OUR MISSION

To have a positive impact on our community and our environment by keeping usable building materials out of the land fill and redistributing them to the community at a discount.  As a division of SHIP, we work to prevent drug abuse in our community by providing supportive housing, recovery support services, employment training programs and green job opportunities.

HELP US HELP THE HOMELESS AND VETERANS IN NEED

We invite you to join us in improving the lives of individuals in our community!  Supportive Housing and Innovative Partnerships, Inc. (SHIP, Inc.) and Second Chance Building Materials provide safe and sober housing for veterans, chronically homeless individuals and individuals recently released from facilities.  SHIP, Inc. also provides community outreach aimed at preventing prescription drug abuse and offers educational opportunities discussing measures we all can take to improve the lives of Idahoans. Click the donate button below to help us improve the lives of our Veterans and the chronically homeless.

HAVE AN IMPACT

Purchasing materials from us helps our environment by keeping building materials from ending up in the land fill.

LOWER COSTS

Who says you can’t do something good and help yourself as well?  Why not save some stress on your wallet by getting materials from us at well below retail?

TAX DEDUCTIBLE

As a reward for your good behavior you’ll get a little help on your taxes. That’s right, we’re a 501(c)3 organization so your donations are tax deductible!

OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS

As a division of SHIP, Inc. we believe in giving people and materials a second chance.  Founded in 2000 by Melanie Curtis, SHIP, Inc. aims to address the many needs of persons in recovery.  We provide services for veterans, persons in recovery, and offenders re-entering the community.
